Catching Fire by Suzanne CollinsMy rating: 5 of 5 stars Twisted world, repressive government, and a heroin that doesn't know she's become the symbol of the resistance. Ever been behind the iron curtain? This is what it was like for more than 40 years in Eastern Europe. I'm quickly becoming a Suzanne Collins fan. (Feast and famine are characters in this book.) If she finishes half as strong as she's started, this series will demand the status of classic. Yes, Orwell she gets it. I recommend this book. View all my reviews >>

- I grew up feeling that I was conservative, but not knowing why. Inspired by Ronald Reagan's inaugural speech, I dove into politics. We forget sometimes why he said "There you go again," to Jimmy Carter. Carter was rambling on and on about how the American people needed the federal government to help them and Reagan knew they didn't. Here are the principles he believed in.
